We invite you to join in on the fun of the IHRSA 2021 Caption Contest (the “Contest”) by submitting your best caption for a chance to win.

You must read the following rules, terms, and legal conditions before submitting your contest entry. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law. If you submit your caption using a mobile device, message/data rates may apply.

How to Enter the IHRSA 2021 Caption Contest

Visit one of IHRSA’s social accounts during the Contest Period.

To enter:

• Follow IHRSA on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or Instagram.

• LIKE the photo from the Contest; AND

• Post a comment captioning the photo (“Caption”). Your caption should include the hashtag #IHRSA2021.

• Your entry will only be counted if it appears in comments of one of the social posts of the image and is visible to the public.

Private posts or posts only visible to your friends and followers will not constitute an entry into the Contest.

Your Caption must be original, and not infringe on any third party rights, including without limitation, copyright, trademark, or patent, or create claims for idea misappropriation or breach of contract. Your Caption must not be defamatory, derogatory, insulting, or otherwise denigrating.

Who is Eligible to Enter the IHRSA 2021 Caption Contest

The contest is open to all participants regardless of residence or citizenship, so long as the laws of their jurisdiction allow participation.

Additional eligibility requirements include:

• You must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

• Satisfy the Terms of Participation (see below).

• Have a valid social media account.

IHRSA employees and their immediate families are not eligible to participate in the contest.

Your Caption must NOT contain material that is sexually explicit, obscene, pornographic, violent (for example, relating to murder, weapons, cruelty, abuse, etc.), discriminatory (based on race, sex, religion, national origin, physical disability, sexual orientation or age), illegal (for example, underage drinking, substance abuse, computer hacking, etc.), offensive, threatening, profane or harassing.

Contest Rules, Terms, and Conditions

IHRSA may elect, in its sole discretion, to feature Captions submitted as part of the Caption Contest in one or more related promotional materials.

The Prize

The winner will receive one 3-day registration (valued at $795.00) to the IHRSA 2022 Convention and Trade Show in Miami Beach, FL on June 22-24, 2022. The winning caption will also be featured in an upcoming issue of CBI with a short interview with the winner.

Contest Submission Phase

All captions must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. ET on Friday, November 12, 2021.

IHRSA shall act as official timekeeper, and all decisions regarding timing of entries shall be at IHRSA’s sole discretion.

Winner Selection and Announcement

The entries will be presented anonymously to a panel of judges comprised of IHRSA staff who will determine the top three finalists. These finalists will be shared with IHRSA members and on IHRSA social accounts. After 7 days, the entry with the most likes will be declared the winner.

All of IHRSA’s decisions with respect to the Contest are final and in IHRSA’s sole and absolute discretion.
