Second rehab center in Russia for Strata

The new CitiFitness medical rehabilitation center in Ekaterinburg, Russia, at 32,000 square feet, is three times larger than the first such center, which opened in Moscow in 2012. Both units are owned and operated by Strata Partners, which also is the parent company of the OrangeFitness club chain.

Both CitiFitness facilities offer a range of medical rehab, fitness, and diagnostics services, focusing on sports and post-trauma treatment. The centers aren’t membership-based but, rather, sell one-time sessions and program packages. All of the sessions are based on regimens developed by physicians for each individual client, and are administered by personal trainers.

“We want to show our clients that fitness is more than a preventative health tool—it’s also able to make people healthy again,” explains Anastasia Yusina, the founder and president of Strata Partners.

But, recently, I was made aware of another benefit—one that I hadn’t seen referenced before—during a weekend visit to Brattleboro, Vermont. For more, click here.
