App measures biomarkers

There are many apps out there that help you with your workout, whether it is suggestions, reminders, metrics or even music playlists.

InsideTracker is an app that will notify the athlete if there are unhealthy levels of certain biomarkers in their body.

For example, Jarrod Shoemaker, an Olympic triathlete, was informated by the app when he had high levels of Vitamin D in his system. That could have affected his ability to train, if not do irreparable damage.
