Snap Fitness location joins IHRSA's Teen Fitness Connection

Snap Fitness Poulsbo is hoping it involvement in an IHRSA program will help the Washington State club do its part in the fight against childhood obesity.

This summer Snap Fitness Poulsbo, along with other members of the International Health, Racquet and Sportsclub Association (IHRSA), will open its doors to teens as part of the new program, the Teen Fitness Connection. Launched by IHRSA, the Teen Fitness Connection is a new nationwide initiative designed to introduce exercise to teens by offering free summer matinee memberships. Designed as a community outreach initiative, the Teen Fitness Connection program invites club owners and executives to fight teen obesity and physical inactivity on a local level.

More than 80 member health clubs and 3,395 teens from across the country are currently enrolled and leading the charge in keeping the U.S. teen population active and healthy this summer.
