Green, Fisher form MomentumBD Ltd.

Killian FIsherNews from the European Congress:

As reported in a recent press release, Momentum Business Development celebrates 10 very successful years in business with clients right across the UK and Ireland. Its diverse portfolio of clients includes many of the major health club chains, hotel leisure clubs, leisure trusts , local authorities/ community leisure and independent commercial clubs. The company under its Managing Director and well-known industry veteran Duncan Green, has launched a new second generation 2G version as MomentumBD Ltd.

The new company is a joint venture between Duncan Green and Kilian Fisher, who have established companies under MomentumBD Ltd. in both the UK and Republic of Ireland. Fisher has taken on the role as Group Marketing Director and as well as joint strategic management of the companies will also take the lead in Strategic and Digital Marketing for the MomentumBD group and its clients.

The new partnership will focus on ten top services to support and add value to mid range clubs to compete on service and quality rather than price. These will build on the established services of 10 very successful years of Momentum Business Development plus the launch of a range of new exclusive services. MomentumBD will initially focus in the UK & Ireland but already has plans for international expansion with further exciting news to be revealed early in 2013.

Kilian Fisher was an IHRSA Board Director (Global) from 2008 to 2012 and chairman of the Membership & Standards Committee. He remains as an IHRSA Europe Council member, EOSE correspondent for Ireland, Fellow of CIMSPA, Member Institute of Directors, and Member of BIAC Health Care Task Force (advises OECD) representing IHRSA.

Fisher has been actively involved in ten European Projects and was CEO of ILAM - the industry body for Sports, Fitness, Aquatic Facilities, Outdoor, Spas and Wellness from 2000 to 2011, and MD of ILAM Consultancy Services. He also has Facility/Clubs Operational, Strategic & Top Level Management experience for almost 20 years within both the public and private leisure and fitness sectors in the UK & Ireland.
