Presenter Profile:

Adam Sloustcher is an associate in Fisher & Phillips’ San Diego, CA, office. He represents local, regional, and national employers in a broad range of employment disputes, including employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination matters. Sloustcher also represents employers in both individual and class-action lawsuits involving alleged violations of wage and hour laws, as well as claims brought under California's Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). He has experience litigating matters in state and federal courts, state administrative tribunals, and in arbitration. Sloustcher also assists employers with investigations of alleged harassment, discrimination and other misconduct in the workplace and provides day-to-day preventative advice regarding hiring, discipline and termination practices, leaves of absences, the interactive process and reasonable accommodations, and preparation of employment handbook and personnel policies. His clients include businesses and organizations of all sizes and in many industries, including restaurants, sports, manufacturing, marketing and financial companies, car dealerships, and hospitals.

Sloustcher regularly conducts management training and lectures on employment issues. He teaches classes about FMLA/CFRA and wage & hour issues for in-house counsel, human resources professionals, and other management personnel and is a guest lecturer for an employment law course at San Diego State University.
