LOS ANGELES, CA—March 4, 2020—Styku LLC., the leader in 3D body scanning and body visualization technology, has entered into a partnership with Profile by Sanford, a fast-growing weight loss and nutritional coaching brand. Backed by Sanford Health, a billion-dollar healthcare institution, Profile by Sanford has quickly grown to more than 160+ locations nationwide. Following a successful pilot in five locations, and a rollout in all corporate locations, Profile continues to add Styku units in Franchisee locations across the nation. Styku will become an integral and effective tool for taking precise and accurate baseline circumference measurements, evaluating disease risks, and demonstrating visual progress for Profile’s comprehensive nutritional program.
With this partnership, Profile’s Certified Health Coaches receive extensive training on the non-invasive 35-second 3D body scanning process. In addition, coaches analyze the resulting data which includes: body visualizations, precise body circumference and composition data, goal-setting tools, and metabolic tools. With this information, a Profile Coach is able to further personalize a member’s health plan to drive lifestyle modification.
Profile members first experienced the added benefit of Styku’s non-scale victories during the 2019 pilot at select locations. Member’s excitement around this value-add has led to the expanded rollout expected by the end of 2020. “We’re excited to have Styku as our exclusive partner in 3D body scanning. Their measurement technology has been a welcome improvement to taking circumference measurements by hand, resulting in increased accuracy and time-savings. Not to mention, the 3D visuals are a great value add that only further engage our members in the coaching process,” shared Nate Malloy, a Sanford Health VP and CEO of Profile.
Profile by Sanford provides a unique experience and approach to weight loss. Personalized nutrition plans, activity and lifestyle coaching, are at the heart of how Profile helps members transform their lives by losing weight and keeping it off. The personalized weight loss program is designed to instill habits that will allow members to maintain the results for years to come. This progressive approach to weight loss is exactly why Profile is looking to enhance the accuracy and experience of body measurements. “We saw Styku at a convention and knew instantly this would be a hit with our members. We tested it against a body scanner competitor and Styku was far and away the better solution. Now, with Styku in our stores and thousands of scans performed, we’re able to accurately measure shape change across our member base. Early results reveal that Profile members are losing an average 6 inches across their waist area and 6.2 pounds of fat in approximately two months. The data is exciting validation that we continue to fulfill our brand promise. Our members are now able to celebrate those non-scale victories that further motivate them and increase program compliance.” said Dr. Stephen Herrmann, Senior Director of Innovation and Research.
While Styku’s popularity accelerates within the fitness industry, interest from tangential markets, such as weight-loss and nutrition outpace expectations. “Today’s consumer expects a more technology-driven experience. To overcome the inertia of leaving their house and walking into your business, consumers need to be delighted when they arrive. But where BIA scales and tape measures have failed to meet those elevated expectations, 3D body scanning has exceeded them. Before and After 3D images communicate objectively the nuances around your body’s transformation far better than a number on a scale. Businesses like Profile by Sanford, are making investments in overhauling their assessment experience, in order to elevate their brand and draw more interest, resulting in increased conversions and compliance. But arguably the most important benefit is the aggregate data is demonstrating evidence their programs are working. And wow, does Profile ever work!”, shared CEO and Co-Founder, Raj Sareen.
