IHRSA Seeks Fitness Facilities to Participate in 2022 Global Survey

To learn more about the state of the global fitness industry and COVID-19’s impact, IHRSA requests for fitness facilities to participate in its 2022 Global Report Survey. Responses will be considered for inclusion in the annual bestseller, The IHRSA Global Report.

BOSTON, MA—March 30, 2022—IHRSA, the Global Health & Fitness Association, is calling on health clubs, gyms, and studios worldwide to partake in its 2022 Global Report Survey with the chance to be featured in its bestselling—and most requested—research publication, The IHRSA Global Report.

Health club, gym, and studio operators can complete the survey in just 10-15 minutes. This year’s survey gathers basic company contact information as well as membership levels, club count figures, number of employees, and revenue data for 2019, 2020, and 2021 in order to gain insight on how the industry’s pandemic recovery is stacking up.

The IHRSA Global Report is a valuable reference for any industry stakeholder,” said Kristen Walsh, IHRSA’s associate publisher and author of the report. "This report not only raises the visibility of top performers, but also gauges industry performance in key markets. The IHRSA Global Report is the first point of reference for anyone interested in learning more about the industry, and a must-have resource for club operators, developers, investors, researchers, and media.”

The deadline to participate in the survey is Friday, April 15. Survey findings will be included in The 2022 IHRSA Global Report, which will be available to purchase in July.

Fitness facility operators who complete the survey will receive a free PDF of The 2022 IHRSA Global Report before its release. All participants will be considered for a chance to be recognized among global industry leaders in the “Company Profiles” section of the report.

The 2022 Global Report will be separated into the following sections:

    1. Industry Overview highlights relevant health and fitness industry news from the past year with insights from industry experts and leading club operators.

    2. Industry Research includes the latest available data on the size and scope of the health club industry by region.

    3. Company Profiles highlights leading health club companies from around the world, including the number of facilities and members, annual revenue, markets served, and CEO.

    4. Partner Profiles features a variety of fitness industry suppliers whose innovative products and services help club operators serve their members and communities.
