January 24, 2020—The world’s most advanced barbell tracking system is set to showcase at the March 2020 IHRSA conference in San Diego. FLEX uses laser technology to record every rep and measure every movement performed with a barbell. Users access real-time feedback through the FLEX Stronger App and harness precise metrics so they can optimise training decisions about intensity, load and technique.

FLEX is the the first wireless barbell tracker to offer both portability and reliable accuracy, and is specifically designed to serve the needs of self coached athletes, data driven Personal Trainers and Remote Coaches. The sensor attaches magnetically to the end of a barbell and tracks five key metrics; velocity, power, distance, bar path and bar movement, as well as logging every rep, set and pound lifted.

FLEX is developed by the Australian company behind GymAware, the world class barbell tracking system used by the best sports teams on the planet, including the Malwakee Bucks, Houston Astros, Boston Bruins and Kansas City Chiefs. GymAware has been the leading solution for any team based training environment for 15 years. With FLEX, individuals now have a dedicated solution that gives them access to the same metrics and precision data that elite performers have relied on for decades to get in their best condition possible.

Test FLEX at the IHRSA conference from 18 - 21 March 2020. Find the FLEX team at Booth #3557 in the Exhibition Hall. FLEX retails at $495USD and is available at Flex website. The App is available for free on Apple App Store and is compatible with iOS v11 and above. Android compatibility is expected in the first half of 2020.
