SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL—August 18, 2022—ABC Fitness Solutions (ABC), the leading technology and related services provider for the fitness industry, has announced the latest product innovations and expansion into Mexico and Colombia with its dedicated Latin America club management solution EVO at IHRSA / Fitness Brasil 2022.

EVO is the largest club management software in Latin America, powering over 5,000 facilities in 12 countries with latest additions, such as BodyTech, Competition and Selfit in Brazil. Major fitness brands, such as Action Black in Colombia, and Station 24 in Mexico, have also joined the EVO community, noting ABC’s significant expansion into these countries.

Serving the fitness industry for over 40 years, powering iconic brands, such as Planet Fitness, Anytime Fitness, Crunch, UFC Gym and Gold’s Gym alike, the American-based ABC first started its international expansion in 2019 with the acquisition of EVO. The Brazilian-based team under local leadership has grown significantly post-pandemic. “When we joined the ABC portfolio, the objective was always to continue our innovation and grow to better serve our clients,” Paulo Akiau, president of EVO, noted. “Today, we serve 25% of the Brazilian market and we plan to scale even bigger.”

Unveiled today at IHRSA / Fitness Brasil are several new innovations that will empower club operators to meet their members where they are: A natively integrated CRM (customer relationship management) that automates communication to the club’s members. EVO is also introducing an intuitive new scheduling feature so club staff can reduce time setting up appointments. In addition, a personal trainer module that simplifies management of training sessions is now available.

Enabling club operators to create their own unique member experience using a comprehensive network and APIs has been the key differentiator for EVO. The latest add-ons include an exclusive integration with N2B, the best nutrition platform in Brazil, and a new Business Intelligence technology that provides key business indicators, reports and real-time statistics.

Post the pandemic, ABC has grown mid double digits annually with EVO growing at 140%. “We believe the Latin American market is ready for the next level of fitness technology and we are committed to invest in such growth for years to come, focused on improved club performance and innovation,” said Bill Davis, CEO of ABC Fitness Solutions.

ABC recently entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Irish-based Glofox. The strategic combination significantly expands ABC’s global reach and amplifies its ability to serve fitness organizations of all sizes, everywhere. Glofox is widely recognized as an innovator in management software, helping boutique gyms and studios and will continue to focus on accelerating their growth in North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania while EVO will remain ABC’s go-to-market solution for Latin America.

This follows the successful strategic acquisitions and integration of Trainerize, GymSales, and FitnessBI that helped enhance ABC’s best-in-class club management software solutions, leading to ABC IGNITE. Collectively the ABC portfolio will support over 31 million members across more than 24,000 fitness locations with technical solutions that put the member at the center of the experience.

With consumers' growing demand for even more personalized fitness programming in the club or at home, ABC looks to leverage shared capabilities, integrate technology and product offerings, to add more innovation to customers around the world.
