ALERT!
Hotels are starting to sell-out . . . make your reservation today!
To reserve a hotel room, simply contact one of our official hotels below and ask for the discounted IHRSA Convention rates as noted. Requests for eleven or more guest rooms, suites, hospitality rooms, and meeting space, must be submitted in writing to IHRSA for review and approval at IHRSA2012@ihrsa.org or by fax to +1 617-737-3323.
IHRSA’s discounted hotel rooms are subject to availability until Friday, February 10, 2012, unless the hotels sell-out prior to this date. Therefore, you are encouraged to place your reservation as early as possible before the hotels are sold-out, which is expected to be before February 10. After this date the official IHRSA room blocks will be released and the hotels will charge significantly higher rates. All rates are per room, per night; hotels may charge additional fees for rooms with more than two occupants. Special requests should be provided to the reservation agent and are subject to availability at the time of check-in.
All hotels are located within 10 blocks of the L.A. Live entertainment complex and the L.A. Convention Center, which is the site of the IHRSA 2012 International Convention & Trade Show. In some cases, as noted below, a daily, complimentary bus shuttle will be available from Tuesday afternoon, March 13, through Saturday mid-afternoon, March 17. For questions about IHRSA’s official hotels, please call our message center at +1 617-316-6796.
Reservations require a one night’s deposit per room, a credit card guarantee, and are subject to a 14% state and local tax; be sure to ask the reservation agent about any additional fees and the hotel’s cancellation policy.
ALERT!
We have been advised that several, independent travel agencies have been promoting themselves as a reservation service or a convention housing authority for the IHRSA 2012 event. Please note that these services are NOT endorsed or supported by IHRSA and that we strongly discourage anyone from using them, as we can not validate the claims they may make.

USA Entry Requirements
A citizen of a foreign country who wishes to enter the United States must have a valid Passport that includes the scheduled travel dates and must also obtain a non-immigrant visa for temporary stay. This visa allows a foreign citizen to travel to a United States port-of-entry and request permission of the U.S. immigration inspector to enter the United States. For your planned travel to attend the IHRSA 2012 event, a Business Visitor Visa B-1 would be the appropriate type of visa for your travel. For more information about obtaining this type of visa, visit the U.S. Department of State, Visitor Visas website.
Visa Waiver Program
Travelers coming to the United States for tourism or business for 90 days or less from qualified countries may be eligible to visit without a visa if they meet the visa waiver program requirements. Visit the Visa Waiver Program website to learn more, and to find out if your country meets these requirements.
Invitation Letter
To request a letter of invitation from IHRSA to complete a visa application for entry into the United States, simply e-mail our International Department at intl@ihrsa.org and be sure to include the applicant's name, company, address, telephone/fax numbers, and e-mail address. Once received and accepted, the invitation letter will be e-mailed to the applicant. The required information noted here can also be provided by calling +1 617-951-0055 ext. 187.
