SoulBody Barre is offering 5 scholarships to Group Exercise Professionals who wish to develop themselves professionally and expand the services they offer to help keep their community active and healthy

Baltimore, MD SoulBody is partnering with the Association of Group Exercise Professionals to offer the “Raise the Dumbbell” Group Exercise (GX) Training & Certification Scholarships. Applications are currently being accepted and the winners are to be announced August 10, 2017.

“SoulBody is proud to be participating in this Scholarship Program,” says Co-Founder & Creator, Stacey Vandiver “We think this is an excellent way to spread goodwill in the GX Industry and most importantly help instructors who are touching lives daily to further their skills.”

Applicants are required to submit a short video on why they want to attend the specific training or certification and show why they are the best candidate. Scholarship winners are chosen based on originality, skill and endorsements from their following.

President of the Association of Group Exercise Professionals, Alyette Keldie has a vision, “This program was created to support the GX Industry by offering an opportunity for recognition and career development. This is one way we plan to make a significant impact in the coming years on professionalism of instructors.”

“Group Instructors have been relentless servants to the public to make them feel better physically and emotionally and I think it’s more than the appropriate time to give back to them,” says product manager, Steve Myers of the Athletics and Fitness Association of America.
