IHRSA in FITNESS BRASIL, Meetings & Events, Sao Paulo

There are plenty of big stage sports happening in Brazil in the near future. First, the World Cup hits the country’s soccer fields in 2014, then, a mere two years later the world will be watching when thousands of athletes descend on the South American continent for the Summer Olympics.

In September the Latin American fitness world will have its eyes on Brazil for the 14th Annual IHRSA/Fitness Brasil Latin American Conference & Trade Show.

The event is Sept. 5-7 at the Transamerica Expo Center in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

As far as the fitness industry is concerned, Brazil - in addition to the two global events later this decade - is the second largest market for facilities.

"Attending the 14th IHRSA Fitness Brasil is something mandatory and essential for those who work in our industry, because the news and trends are all there, waiting to be experienced, disclosed, explained and discussed. We have only two opportunities per year for this level of gathering – the IHRSA Convention in
the U.S., or in Brazil at IHRSA Fitness Brasil," said  Richard Bilton, president, Cia Athletica, and member of IHRSA's board of directors

There are four educational tracks for attendees:

Management: practices for developing your business, including marketing, sales, retenion, etc.

Management Connection: A new track, this addresses issues raised during the talks using an interactive game format.

Coordinators: Learn how to be a leader in the technical and operational aspects of the business.

Professional Premium Conference: For high level professionals, this track includes Functional Training Conference, Personal Training Experience, Longevity Conference, High Performance Swimming Meeting, and Career and Entrepreneurship.

There will also be daily keynote speakers, international features and the three-day trade show with local and international companies.
