We all know how important it is to be in good shape. Lifting weights, participating in aerobic exercises and eating healthy are all key components to this end.

At Charlotte Athletic Club in Charlotte, N.C., they take the nutrition aspect to a level that many other clubs do not.

From free cooking demonstrations – wouldn’t all of us show up to our club if one day there were samplings of Crab Summer Rolls, Moroccan Seared Tofu and Basil Seared Tilapia one day, followed by fruit smoothies the next? – to a page on its website solely dedicated to nutrition to inspirational photos and sayings on its Facebook page, the club certainly realizes the importance of eating well.

This isn’t to say that CAC neglects the other two phases of fitness with basketball, squash and racquetball courts, yoga and spin classes, and weight training over 35,000 square feet.
