Start a Community Outreach Programing Using Get Active America!

Get Active America! is an IHRSA-trademarked initiative in which participating clubs open their doors to the community.

Originally launched as an IHRSA member enrollment program, Get Active America! ran during the month of May to coincide with National Physical Fitness and Sports Month. Now you can run Get Active America! and open the doors of your club to the community any time during the year.

Community outreach programs that offer important club resources to the community outside the constructs of membership can help your club in a number of ways. Learn more about 5 Ways Your Health Club Benefits from Community Outreach.

How It Works

Designate a week at your club as Get Active America! week, to have the opportunity to open your doors to the community. You may choose to open your doors to the entire community for all seven days, or invite only friends and relatives of members for part of the week, and the public for the other part of the week.
