Tweet of the Day: Live Longer With Exercise And A Healthy Weight 

While the "Is diet or exercise better for weight loss?" debate rages on, an abundance of research supports the benefits of physical activity for maintaning health and a healthy weight. One study found that people who exercised and maintained a healthy weight lived on average 7.2 years longer than their inactive peers.

Many health clubs have begun offering weight loss programs to help their members get healthy and achieve their goals. This spring IHRSA released Best Practice E-Books: Weight Loss Programs, sharing successful programs from five IHRSA member clubs. Download the e-book.
