Inspiration at the IGNITE! Session

During the IGNITE! Session, health club professionals have five minutes to share an inspiring story, spark creativity, and inspire the crowd. This year, nine people shared their stories to an attentive audience. Highlights include:

Molly Kemmer from Medifit talked about creating net promoters from among your membership.

Noah Hastay from Gainesville Health and FItness shared their program Fit For ALL, an exercise program designed for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Kristin Degenhardt from Kings Court in New Jersey inspired the audience to be creative with marketing, social media, and events to create engagement. 

Jeff Griffin-Jones from Almaden Valley Athletic Club shared his club's "Leadership Bootcamp", a 10-14 week program to develop managers and leaders in the club.

Nick Jasili of ERC Wiping Products, Inc. regaled the audience with Tales of a Germophobic Fitness Buff. Nick discussed several stereotypical "germy" situations and how to fix them. 

Tiffany Levine from Greenworld Athletic and Tennis Club shared her club's initiatives to provide offers that give back to the community. The club runs a number of promotions that provide discounts and other value for giving back to the community. 

Mel Tempest of Ballarat Body & Soul Health & Fitness Studio in Australia talked about group fitness and how to get "more feet and fans" in your classes, and how to keep them there.

Samantha Miller from the Adirondack Club discussed child obesity and its risks and causative factors as well as some solutions to help prevent it. THese included club programming like licensed preschool and after school programs. 

Jim Worthington of the Newtown Athletic Club shared his thoughts on Vision For Success, advising the audience to "be fearless and go for it".
