What Time Wasters Do You See in Your Club?

I've been working with a reporter from Men's Health Magazine on an article about the gym membership habits of Americans. The article will make good use of IHRSA's research on consumer behavior, particularly the newly released Health Club Consumer Report.

One of the sections in this article will focus on the activities people waste their time on while exercising, like playing on their phones and talking. The hope is to teach the readers how their little habits might be hurting them in order to help them improve!

To make this section as helpful as possible, Men's Health would like to hear from the trainers of IHRSA member clubs. They've created a 5-minute survey that asks a. how many minutes trainers think people waste on certain activities in a training session, and b. for tips to reduce time wasters. And, there's an option to submit contact information if you wish to be quoted.

Since we all want to help consumers get a better, more efficient workout, please share this survey with your trainers.

The survey will remain open until Wednesday, October 14th at 5pm Eastern Time. Take the Men's Health survey here.
