Midtown Athletic Club invests in small group training

Chicago-based Midtown Athletic Clubs has invested $1 million this year to redefine its fitness floor experience, making small group training a No. 1 priority in all its U.S. clubs.

In June, Midtown marked the “rebirth” of its Oak Park Fitness Club with a daylong celebration for the community, offering free programs and fitness classes for adults and children. The offerings included a runner’s clinic, family yoga, Zumba for kids, Pilates reformer classes, endurance and strength challenges, a hip hop junior dance class, and more.

Highlights of the celebration included appearances by Chicago Bears players Craig Steltz and Kyle Long, and demonstrations of Midtown’s exclusive OMNIA and Pavigym training systems.

Currently, Midtown is the only North American chain to feature Technogym’s innovative OMNIA Training System, and the first Midwest club to offer the technologically sophisticated Pavigym flooring system experience.

MAC comprises 10 full-service tennis and fitness facilities throughout the U.S. and Canada.
