Institute attendees are asked what was the best part of the event

Clem Saenz, Executive Director
HealthWorks Fitness Center, El Dorado, Ark.

“That would be the the ability to take a step back and look at all of the different marketing opportunities out there. Bryan O’Rourke’s session was completely eye-opening. It is hard to conceptualize how good it was. You think you are good at something and then you hear someone else’s ideas and it makes you think about it in an entirely different way.”

Lisa Gasior, Director of Operations
Centegra Health Bridge Fitness Center, Crystal Lake, Ill.

“There was so much information to take home and go through. It reminded me of why I do what I do and the true purpose of this industry. I need to remember to not get so bogged down every day and remember why I am in this business.”

Ryan Groll, Fitness Director
Hearthstone Health & Fitness, Easton, Mary.

“I think it was great to hear the many stories from people with more experience than me and to learn from their mistakes. You are able to fund people who are in the industry longer than you and have the chance to pick their brains.”

Edmond Adams, Fitness Manager
Crunch Fitness, New York, N.Y.

“I think the best thing this week was that there are people who are facing the same issues that you are and are willing to share it. Honestly, I think a lot of us live in their own world and face issues that we think no one else does.”

Julia Hilden, Club Manager
GoGo Liikuntakeskus, Tampere, Finland

“I think the best part of the week was was the chance to speak to all of these people in the health industry. The chance to hear their thoughts and see they have the same problems.”
