Take a look at all three IHRSA 2014 award videos

Patsy McLean, winner of the Julie Main Woman Leader Scholarship, and Joe Moore, IHRSA president and CEO.In case you arrived late to the General Session speakers, or you were unable to attend IHRSA 2014 33rd Annual International Convention & Trade Show, you can still see the videos presented prior to the three award winners being recognized on stage.

The first award, the Associate Member of the Year, was presented to ABC Financial for its  significant contribution to the advancement of the club industry, and is also in recognition of their support of IHRSA through program and event participation, advertising and sponsorship.

Next, Patsy McLean, of the Adelaide Club in Canada, was honored with the Julie Main Woman Leader Scholarship for her perseverance, just like the award's namesake. McLean survived Melanoma, and to help others like her she started a Cancer Specific Exercise Program at Adelaide Club in Canada, where she is the director of Group Exercise, educatiing cancer patients on the benefits of exercise with both strength training and cardio intervals.

Finally, prior to the third General Session speaker on Friday, March 14,  Gold's Gym Dutchess Country was recognized for its countless efforts with the Outstanding Community Service Award. It recognizes a member that has made a longstanding commitment to making a difference in, and beyond, their community.

The applications for the 2015 awards will be made available in the summer. Check back on the IHRSA blog and @IHRSA on Twitter. For more information on the awards, visit
