Exercise helps in conceiving

Couples that are having trouble conceiving may want to consider sending the man to the gym.

A study that was released at this week's International Federation of Fertility Societies and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine - jointly held meetings in Boston - says that men who get seven hours of exercise per week had a higher-than-average concentration of sperm.

The meeting also unveiled two other studies that show men's consumption of alcohol and caffeine do not affect the ability to conceive.
