Weekly question: Should a sedentary lifestyle be considered a medical condition?

So, here is the question:

A Mayo Clinic researcher thinks that a sedentary lifestyle should be treated as a medical condition,then doctors can develop a way to treat it, just like addiction. What are your feelings? Do you think this would work?

It should be treated as a medical condition. The person would certainly benefit from preventing a lifelong medical condition from happening, as would the society.
