Author pens book on workouts for those 40 and over

Fitness veteran and author Carey Long has shifted his focus from young hardbodies earlier in his career to the over-40 crowd now.

Once a common thought that after 40 it was too late to get in shape, he said, but science has proven otherwise. 

He points out that there are many studies that the older demographic respond well to strength training and aerobic exercise. He noted that experts say that a 15-20 year decrease in biological age can be attained with easy changes in your routine and diet.
