Technogym’s New Quarters

Technogym: world headquarters teamIn September, Technogym established its first North American headquarters in the Garden State. “This is the first step of a multifaceted industrial strategy that’s meant to leverage the Fairfield office’s proximity to our main logistics hub in York, Pennsylvania,” explains Nerio Alessandri, the firm’s founder and president.

The new 13,000-square-foot facility, which employs some 40 people, is managed by Federico Foli, the chief operating officer (COO) of Technogym North America, which encompasses the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Among its responsibilities are sales, customer service, logistics, accounting, financial services, and quality control. “The new site includes a quality lab, and will be an important center for technological innovation,” notes Alessandri.

“Our clients will profit from the strengthening of our operations and customer service,” he indicates. “By consolidating our operations on the East Coast and tapping the resources of the Technogym Group, we’ll be able to promote our wellness vision and mission more quickly and efficiently, with innovation and technology born in North America.”

Technogym: USA teamThe company has long maintained a West Coast office in Seattle, Washington, but the new headquarters represents a major step for the business. “North America, in general, and the U.S., in particular, are key priorities in our corporate strategy,” Alessandri acknowledges. “We’re making a significant investment in North America to bring our products and wellness solutions to more consumers and fitness facilities, and are seriously considering the option of manufacturing there.

“The new East Coast office, along with the logistics hub in Pennsylvania, are the first components of Technogym’s strategy for the future.”

In all, Technogym has 14 separate branches—the newest opened earlier this year in Brazil—plus a 60-distributor network, which, together, serve more than 100 countries.
