Update on Channel-Surfing

Unfortunately, Branson’s attempt to kite-surf across the English Channel came up short…30 mph winds and 10-foot waves prevented a successful crossing. He had to abandon his goal after an hour.

A spokeswoman told the National Examiner: “Richard wanted to continue but the conditions in the middle [of the Channel] are atrocious. I’m sure they’ll be determined to do it again.”
