Location, location, and financial incentives?

In preparation for possible legislation that will encourage clubs to open in underserved areas, IHRSA wants input from clubs who have received a financial incentive package to locate to a specific location, like an underserved area or new development zone. Perhaps your club is located in an Enterprise Zone or on a Brownfield? Or maybe your local government provided tax breaks to spur your club's development? If so, we'd love to hear about it.

Rhode Island: Lawmakers Consider Tax Benefits for Employee Wellness

Legislation was introduced that proposes a financial incentive for employers to provide a worksite wellness program. House Bill 7320 would create a tax credit for a quarter of the cost a small business incurs for implementing a qualifying wellness program, possibly programs that include health club memberships.
