Florida Club Operators: Your Thoughts on Sales Tax Holiday Needed

IHRSA believes there is currently an opportunity to make progress in our efforts to repeal Florida's sales tax on health club dues, but lawmakers are reluctant to give up the entire revenue stream. To help alleviate this reluctance, IHRSA is considering a tax holiday for the purchase of a health club membership. For one week (most likely in January) Florida residents could buy a tax-free health club membership.
