Obama Administration Postpones Employer Mandate For One Year

The employer mandate provision of the Affordable Care Act will now take effect in 2015, a year later than originally planned, said the US Treasury Department—which is responsible for enforcing the mandate—in a blog post.

The additional year will be used to clarify and streamline reporting requirements (what employers need to do to show they are complying with the rules).
