Richard Simmons Supports FIT Kids Act

The iconic fitness industry mogul Richard Simmons is featured on the Huffington Post Blog this week, urging all Americans to support policies that promote healthier, more active children. Simmons’ names the Fitness Integrated with Teaching Kids Act (FIT Kids) as a legislative cornerstone in this effort.

“In the current political season our efforts to get America's school children more fit have been placed on the back burner,” writes Simmons. “But if we're going to build a stronger America and a more competitive America, then we need stronger young people, too!"
