IHRSA Answers Questions about Affordable Care Act

Now that election season is over, it is clear that implementation of the Affordable Care Act (aka “ObamaCare”) will move forward.

As you know, the legislation includes several provisions relating to businesses. To assist our members with planning and compliance, IHRSA is preparing an industry-specific resource with answers to questions, such as:

  • Do I need to offer health insurance to my personal training staff?
  • How does the law impact seasonal employees?
  • Can I still require a waiting period before offering health insurance to new employees?
