Physician: Coloradoans Need to Worry about Obesity

A Denver-area physician wrote to the editor of the Denver Post, urging Coloradoans to take notice of the devastating effects of childhood obesity, and to do something about it. Even though Colorado is the least obese state in the nation, childhood obesity is growing at an alarming rate, “increasing by 23 percent from 2003-07,” Dr. Luke Casias writes.
